A Billionaire in Hong Kong acknowledged Ms. Ly Nha Ky as her adoptive daughter

(Dan Tri online newspaper) – Madam Alice Chiu, the president of Henyep Development Holdings Limited, concomitantly as a chairperson of Sheen Hok International Charitable Foundation, has acknowledged the “beloved woman” Ly Nha Ky as her adopted daughter. Along with her new relationship, in November, 2009, Ly Nha Ky was officially promoted to be the vice chairperson of Sheen Hok foundation.

Madam Alice Chiu formerly was to be a famous Billionaire in Hong Kong, she is actively participating with her generous social activities in which the outstanding of her international charitable foundation named Sheen Hok. Sheen Hok foundation was founded under sponsorship by Henyep.  Henyep Development Holdings is one of the oldest financial services companies in Hong Kong. Founded in the mid 1970’s, the company  was original engaged in commodities trading in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Being the president of Henyep Development Holdings and a chairperson of Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation, Madam Alice had ever been visited to the remote and poor rural communities for supporting and generously contributed for many other charitable foundations on the world.

In 2009, the Sheen Hok foundation has provided financial supports to the Operation Smile Foundation.  By that occasion,  Madam Alice traveled with the Hong Kong’s famous movie star Jackie Chan (Thanh Long) to Vietnam for participating in the surgeries for children with the harelipped in Ha Noi.  Right on that operation, Dr. Alice met her “beloved daughter” Ly Nha Ky.  After the formal and informal contact, Dr. Alice invited Ly Nha Ky to participate in the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation.

Ly Nha Ky confided “ At the beginning, I was astonished at her thoughtful of others and friendly in manners. With a simple thought, they had a charitable foundation and want me to participate. After completing her mission days at Operation Smile, one week later I received a telephone call from Sheen Hok foundation for my invitation to Hong Kong for attandance in press conference.  Although, I was very busy with my schedule but tried to arranging things for travel to Hong Kong.  I was really surprised at the large scale of that press conference and the concerning of mass media in Hong Kong to that event.  By this opportunity, I met a younger brother of Mr. Obama, the president of the United State of America. I had also have some interviews to newspapers of Hong Kong and China.  It was a great surprising to me after some talks and confidence, Alice admitted that we have just met in a short time but she was feeling as if we had ever met in long ago and then she acknowledged me as her adaptive daughter. Whenever I have chance to Hong Kong, I was always visit her family and  stay at her home.  Since then, I have known that she is a famous billionaire in Hong Kong”.

Having a chance to participate in the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation, in November, 2010, Ly Nha Ky has been promoted to be a vice chairperson of the foundation. “ Participating in Sheen Hok, I wish to be bridging a gap between Sheen Hok and Vietnam.  Sheen Hok foundation supports its operation in various fields and beneficiaries such as supporting in construction of schools, home for the elderly, provision scholarships for poor students who have a good study records, financial supports for treating or operating to the children with amblyopic, etc. As per our plan,  on 15 May, 2010, we will conduct the first press announcement in Ha Noi for the event of launching ceremony of Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation in Vietnam, and organizing a galadinner for fund raising campaign. The Galadinner would have the representatives of successful enterprises, the billionaires from Hong Kong, the famous movie star Mr. Ray Lui (Lu Luong Vi) and some high rank governmental officers in particularly.”, the beauty reveal.     

If there is not thing change at the last minutes, on 13 May, 2010, the movie star Mr. Ray Lui will arrive in Vietnam for participating in our Gala Dinner and fund raising for Sheen Hok under representative of Ly Nha Ky.  Although with the bustling of charitable plan of actions, she confesses, till end of May, 2010, she will not be able to arranging her schedule for joining to be in films whereas there are some offerings and invitations .

Ly Nha Ky added further information: “ At this moment, my name is in the list of group three for the HTV Awards, however, right on the night of giving a prize in 5th May,  I will not be available to be there due to my fixed schedule with the Central Eye Hospital in Ha Noi for the operation of children with amblyopic that are supported by my program.  I have made this decision after the careful consideration of it, I will submit to the organized board for withdrawing my name from this list of candidates for the HTV Awards.  I thought, if I am not be able to present at the night for receiving the awards that would not be acceptable and not to be respecting to the organized board, as well as to my colleagues, I would not cancel the schedule with the Central eye hospital as planned if I will be there for prize. If the spectators are having the fondness and voting for me then I would always have a position in the affection of audiences. I am feeling that the poor and vulnerable people, children with less opportunities are more needed my support than I am appearance in swankiness and luxurious at the night of giving prize.  Therefore,  I would officially like to withdraw my name from the HTV Awards”.
