‘Am not born for all men’

(The Star) During 3 years taking part in the movies, Ly Nha Ky always confirms that there is no men beside her. This is one of the reasons there are rumors that she is together with Cao Thai Son, Viet Anh etc. when filming with them.

-    In the charitable activities, there have been so many times you are in tears when witnessing the unlucky pieces of life. Some people think that the tears are not real but you were just acting. What you think about this?

- Am a strong girl but right before the surgery has finished, not only me but anyone will be in tears. To be honest, am scared of blood. When I was a kid, I dared not to operate a frog in Biology class. Now, I usually go to the operation room to observe the surgery in the charitable campaign, I get used to it and my fear becomes lesser and lesser.

Doing charitable activities, I can’t pay attention to what people say about this. If people say that doing charitable activities is to polish my name, I can stop what am doing. But probably 100 and maybe 1,000 children won’t have the chance to change their lives. Hence, I don’t really care what people are saying. I know what am doing. The important thing is that today, I can bring happiness to lots of children. When they grow up and devote to the society, people will understand what I have done. If I use my tears to act, maybe I can just act once or twice. But I do charitable activities every month and the media is always there; if I can cry all the time like that, am really good then. I don’t waste my tears and don’t have much tear to cry like that.

- Always care for happiness of unlucky pieces of life, when you will think about your own happiness?

- At the same time, I get involved in different jobs such as business, acting, doing charitable activities; if I have love now, definitely I can arrange my time. Just because now, I don’t have fate to meet my real man. In my opinion, everything has fate. Moreover, I haven’t prepared everything for marriage life; so, just take time. I just get married when I can find my right man. As for me, love at first time never happens.

- From your beautiful appearance along with a soft voice, people think that you are a sweet girl in love. Is that true?
- Thanks for your compliment since everyone told me that am sharp, have strong personality, and a bit manly (smile). If I can conquer everyone, am too successful; but I don’t think so. Everyone has their own personality, point of view; hence, ideal person for each person must be different. I don’t think that I can give good impression for all men. Some love me, some do not.

-    Which kind of man can win your heart?

- Am not easy to fall in love with someone if they don’t make me feel friendly and comfortable when meeting with each other. Besides, there are lots of other elements impacting. Now, what I need is a man who understands me and can share with me things in life.

I have my 1st love when I was 23 and till now, I have experienced 2 loves. When a relationship doesn’t work, I don’t want to blame anyone for this. I think that breaking up is a right decision for both of us to live better so that we can pursue what we choose. Am not the one who can suffer when my boyfriend has another girl. As for me, suffering is not about faithful but it’s killing me. Though these 2 relationships were in the past; but when we met each other again, 2 men always told me that am the woman who had given them lots of feeling; they even wanted to turn back time.

- Can say that you are a successful woman and this is the one who makes men feel scared in love. What’s your opinion?

- If they want me to be a woman of family, just focusing on housework; they don’t match me from the very beginning, let alone marriage. Every man needs to choose his own woman. And am born not for all men; but just one man. It’s not difficult in terms of choosing a suitable man; it’s just about fate. Must be some day, that man will be able to find me.

- There is one coincidence, when you take part in any film; there is always scandal about the relationship between you and the main person?

All of them are about the rumors without any foundation. Maybe because during 3 years I join in art field; I don’t have any boyfriends; therefore, when I cooperate well with the main actor in the romantic scenes; the audience put a question-mark for our relationship.

I was so surprised when hearing that I and Director Ngo Quang Hai love each other after Hong Kong trip. If you say that I love Cao Thai Son, Viet Anh or Minh Tiep; there is somehow foundation since I used to film with them. For Hai, I just talked to him a bit when meeting each other and was not so close to him.

- Is your life impacted by these rumors without foundation?

- People say that the more successful, the lonelier you feel; I think that this is right. Though it’s just about complaint, it proves that you have your own value and everyone is paying attention to you. If someday, you go on the street and no one talks about you; life has no meaning at that time. Am not saying that am fighting against scandal. Being an actress, I always figure out what I gain and what I lose.

-Inside you, there are always conflict between 2 people – one strong and one soft. Why is so?

- It’s right that there are 2 people inside me and I can’t separate them. When acting, the art part in me shows up; but in the office, am very strong and decisive. Those 2 characteristics are advantageous to me. If you are too strong, it’s easy for you to fail in life and difficult to adapt to life. You need to be soft sometime to get the balance for yourself.
